Two peeks at things now available in my etsy shop.

Slowly

It's been difficult for me to paint as much as I'd like to lately, let alone post anything to this blog or put things up on Etsy. Slowly, I'm staring to get back to doing as much as I'd like. Keyword is "slowly."

Advent

Bulletin covers for Advent at church. Inspired by "Es ist ein Ros Entsprungen" and the concept of the unexpected at Christmas.
Meant to be viewed on their own in succession and in a row.
I follow this artist on Flickr. Her work is very inspiring to me. I like her sense of order, pattern and organization in her work.

Round two: all is well.

This is my second try at this idea and the first piece of art I made in my new home. Pictures of my studio to come, once it is all set up.

Inspiration

J gave me a fantastic book for our anniversary. The designs are so simple and charming. I think it's really going to inspire my work for a while.

The Sketchbook Progress

I went to P's Dad's hunting shack. I didn't get much drawing done, but at least I managed two pages. It's a pretty inspiring, peaceful place.
