Slowly

It's been difficult for me to paint as much as I'd like to lately, let alone post anything to this blog or put things up on Etsy. Slowly, I'm staring to get back to doing as much as I'd like. Keyword is "slowly."

I follow this artist on Flickr. Her work is very inspiring to me. I like her sense of order, pattern and organization in her work.

Round two: all is well.

This is my second try at this idea and the first piece of art I made in my new home. Pictures of my studio to come, once it is all set up.

Inspiration

J gave me a fantastic book for our anniversary. The designs are so simple and charming. I think it's really going to inspire my work for a while.

Painting at P's

I went to my best friend's house today. We met in university in a fine arts class. I needed to make a few cards and she needed to make a gift. I always seem to have good luck with my work when I'm with her. The last picture is out of my sketchbook.

Red Mandalas

My current favourite thing to draw. Like it? Find it here.

Cabin Drawings

At my grandma-in-law's cabin there is no cable or internet access, so I know that I'll always have lots of time to draw.

Grass

Drawing - Grass, vertical
Drawing - Grass, horizontalSorry about the poor lighting. One day I'll have proper equipment. But, if you like them, you can find them here.
